Labels collab on new dancehall rhythm

Dancehall star Rytikal is setting the pace for one of the summer’s most energetic releases, leading an all-star cast of deejays on the adrenaline-fuelled ‘Surato Juggling Medley Mix’, a collaboration between YUO101 Music and Robert Livingston’s Big Yard Music.

Released on July 31, the innovative 120-second medley revives the spirit of Jamaica’s classic juggling era, packing seven artistes onto one relentless rhythm where each performer seamlessly hands the baton to the next. The result is a high-octane showcase of modern dancehall that captures the lyrical warfare, infectious energy and sound system excitement that have long defined the genre.

The mix features an impressive line-up that features Rytikal, Iwaata, KipRich, Quick Cook, Rik Rok, Rude Link and Thrilla Rush with each artiste delivering a distinct performance without interrupting the relentless pace of the rhythm.

“This project is all about bringing back that authentic juggling vibe where every artiste has a moment to shine while keeping the energy flowing from beginning to end,” the producers said. Among the standout tracks, Rytikal turns up the temperature with his gritty anthem Pon Me, injecting raw street energy into a production already bursting with momentum. Iwaata immediately commands attention with the explosive Bring It To Me, while veteran KipRich showcases his trademark lyrical precision on Watch That Pree. Quick Cook drives the rhythm forward with the bass-heavy street anthem Shake.

The medley may last only two minutes, but it wastes none of the singles. Built for selectors, clubs, radio, streaming playlists and social media, the production unfolds like a live sound clash, with each artiste feeding off the previous performance in an uninterrupted wave of energy.
